Recording a payment

When a member pays down their tab.

When a member settles up — pays cash or transfers money to clear their tab — record the payment so their balance comes down.

1. Open the member from Members, or their statement.
2. Record a payment for the amount they paid.
3. Their balance drops by that amount and the payment is logged.

Adjustments

An owner can also make a direct adjustment to a balance — for a write-off or to correct a mistake. Adjustments are PIN-protected and recorded in the member’s history.
