When a member pays down their tab.
When a member settles up — pays cash or transfers money to clear their tab — record the payment so their balance comes down.
An owner can also make a direct adjustment to a balance — for a write-off or to correct a mistake. Adjustments are PIN-protected and recorded in the member’s history.
Charges, payments and adjustments all leave an entry in the member’s statement. Nothing changes silently.
